Competition Timeline
75 teams/individuals participated as semifinalists at the Virtual SheSoft 2019-20 Conference.
These semifinalists were placed in team environment of their interest at the conference paired with Conference Educators/Mentors so that they can brainstorm their ideas and gain experience in building amazing software application to support their interest.
Three (3) teams were selected as finalists from 5th and 6th grade level (1st, 2nd and 3rd place). Three (3) additional teams were selected as finalist from 7th and 8th grade level - tie winners in some categories.
Honorable mentions (team/individual awards) were given in addition to 6 placement awards.
Finalists and honorable mention award recipients were given SheSoft Trophies, Gift Cards per Team (First Place: Google $150; Second Place: Amazon $100; Third Place: Best Buy $75; Honorable Mention: $50 Best Buy), Final Placement Certificates, Books, Latest Electronics, SheSoft Website Announcements, and Press release. All Semifinalists were given schwags from SheSoft and Sponsors.
