Rachel Naidich is a freshman at Stanford University, California. She loves computer science, and her specific interests include artificial intelligence and the applications of new technology like virtual reality. She was a member of her high school’s Senior Computer Team, on which she studied algorithms and practices for programming competitions. She was a winner in the Congressional App Challenge, was top 5 in the Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge, was top five in the national BuiltByGirls competition, was a Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS) scholar, and won a fourth place award at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). She hopes to pursue a career in computer science in the future.
